NT - Keeping good records for LPA | Northern Territory
Good records and systems are the foundation of the red meat integrity system. If you are a producer accredited through Livestock Production Assurance (LPA), you make a pledge that meat from your farm has been produced safely, ethically and meets biosecurity requirements. It means you stand by what you sell.
When you tick the box on your LPA NVD, you are guaranteeing your on-farm practices meet LPA requirements, and ultimately customer expectations. Your tick must be backed up by accurate farm records – and farm records will be reviewed if your property is audited as part of the LPA program.
Join this webinar, held in partnership with Northern Territory Government and Northern Territory Cattlemen’s Association, for tips and hints on how to keep good records and what on-farm actions you need to be recording as well as what to expect during an LPA audit.
Discussion will focus on:
- The role of the Integrity Systems Company
- The importance of the red meat integrity system
- The integrity system programs – LPA and NLIS
- LPA accreditation and auditing
- Record keeping tips
- Uploading documents to LPA account
