Join our webinar: Can you Stand by What You Sell? | QLD |
Australia’s red meat integrity system ensures the livestock industry can stand by what it sells. The foundations of the red meat integrity system are Livestock Production Assurance (LPA), the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) and National Vendor Declarations (NVDs). This system means customers around the world trust Australian red meat is safe, ethically produced and high quality.
The Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program is the on-farm assurance program that underpins market access for Australian red meat. LPA National Vendor Declarations (NVDs) provide evidence of livestock history and on-farm practices when transferring livestock through the value chain. All producers – regardless of flock or herd size – need to be accredited if they want to access the LPA National Vendor Declaration.
In this webinar series, producers will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- Meeting the seven LPA requirements on-farm
- National Vendor Declarations and the National Livestock Identification System
- Biosecurity
This webinar is ideal for anyone handling livestock – farm owners, managers, overseers, hobby farmers, small farmers, those who have a few livestock as pets or to eat, farm hands and agriculture teachers.
The FREE webinar will be held on Wednesday 5 July from 12pm – 1:00pm AEST
