ALPA National & NSW Young Auctioneers Competition

Viewed nationally as a Marquee Event within the red meat industry and supply chain the 2025 ALPA National & NSW Young Auctioneers Competition and Dinner at the Sydney Royal Easter Show showcases livestock marketing, breeding, animal husbandry, MSA, auctioneering excellence whereby prime led steers and heifers are auctioned in a commercial cattle sale by Young Auctioneers selected from all states of Australia and New Zealand.

The Competition in its 36th year gathers all corners of the industry from breeders, school students raising and preparing the cattle, livestock buyers and importantly urban based people who ordinarily do not visit farms or saleyards and takes place in the Ampitheatre to several thousand people. The 36th annual dinner is an industry networking event drawing approx 360 attendees within the red meat supply chain from MLA, Producers, Processors, state and federal government, transporters, insurers.
