Integrity Systems Company stakeholders

Integrity Systems Company (ISC) was launched following a recommendation by industry and government in 2015 through their SAFEMEAT partnership – that one company be given responsibility for delivering a fully integrated integrity system. ISC was established in 2017.

SAFEMEAT

SAFEMEAT is a partnership between the red meat and livestock industry and government to ensure the production of safe and ethical red meat from the farm to the consumer.

The SAFEMEAT Partnership’s Integrity Systems Policy Group provides strategic and policy input into the red meat integrity system. An Integrity Systems Communications Working Group provides advice on communications and stakeholder engagement activities.

The Policy Group provides SAFEMEAT Partners with advice on the three industry owned elements of the red meat integrity system – the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS), the Livestock Production Assurance program (LPA) and LPA National Vendor Declaration (LPA NVD).

SAFEMEAT initiates research and development, develops communication linkages, monitors the status of Australia’s meat products, reviews standards and examines emerging issues that could have an impact on the meat and livestock industry in the future.
