New integrity system resources

A range of new and updated tools and resources are now available on the ISC website to help red meat industry stakeholders meet their integrity requirements.  

This includes an update of the frequently asked questions (FAQs) available on the website to help with:  

• the Livestock Production Assurance (LPA) program
• LPA National Vendor Declarations (NVDs) 
• the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) 
• data and feedback, including Livestock Data Link (LDL) 
• understanding the red meat integrity system. 

From help with completing an electronic National Vendor Declaration (eNVD) to recording livestock movements on the NLIS database, the updated FAQs provide comprehensive support for all your integrity system questions.   

Information provided by the updated FAQs have been tailored to meet the individual needs and circumstances of a range of different stakeholders within the integrity system.

A series of new step-by-step guides have also recently been made available on the ISC website to assist producers with completing LPA audits.  

This includes a step-by-step guide to responding to an LPA corrective action request (CAR), as well as a guide for producers to learn how to submit evidence for an LPA remote audit.  

More tools and resources are currently being developed to assist stakeholders throughout the red meat value chain with their integrity system requirements.
